Saving a refill plan

Once you have created or modified a refill item class, and then verified its structure, you can save the refill item class to either the database or as an XML file on your hard disk.

Note: After saving a refill item class, you can no longer:

  • Modify the name of the refill item class

  • Remove a user property from the table

  • Change the type of a user property

 

To save a new refill item class to the database

  1. From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In the Database. The Save in the Catalog dialog box opens.

  2. In the Owner drop-down menu, select the owner of the refill item class.

  3. Click Save. The Refill Item Class Creation dialog box opens to inform you that the refill item class has been successfully created.

  4. Click OK.

To save an existing refill item class to the database

  1. From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In the Database.

  2. The Refill Item Class Modification dialog box opens to inform you that the refill item class has been successfully modified.

  3. Click OK. The new version of the refill item class is saved as the only current version.

To save a refill item class as an XML file

  1. From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In a File. A confirmation dialog box opens.

  2. Click OK. The Save dialog box opens.

  3. Select a directory to save the refill item class.

  4. In the File name field, type the name of the file.

  5. Click Save. The refill item class is saved as an XML file in your selected directory.
