For removing a component

Use this procedure to remove a component from a tree.

To remove a component from a tree

  1. In the tree, click the component that you want to remove.

  2. From the menu bar in the main window, select Action > Remove Component. The component is removed.

 

Notes:

  • To remove an entire tree branch, right-click a component and select Remove Component.

  • Some components in the middle of a tree branch allow you to remove them and all other components attached to them towards the end of the branch. These branch sections can be removed only when the Remove component command is available.

  • You can remove, cut, copy, or paste components or sections of a tree by right-clicking a component and selecting Remove, Cut, Copy, or Paste.
