.SAP Convergent Charging creates transactions which are the result of the rating and charging processes or the result of the refilling process. You can retrieve the contents of these transactions through billable items in the SAP ERP system.
To do that in SAP Convergent Charging, you must create charged item classes or refill record classes that you map onto the billable item classes of the SAP ERP system.
Outside SAP Convergent Charging, the SAP ERP system defines the billable item classes and modifies their contents if necessary. To avoid any error relating to the creation and validation of the billable item classes, you can refresh the mapping of the billable item classes.

Important: If a billable item class has been changed in the SAP ERP system, you must modify the existing billable item mapping in SAP Convergent Charging. For more information, refer to your administrator or refer to the maintenance procedure described in the SAP CC Configuration Guide (help resources). |
The billable item mapping is graphically represented by a
tree that consists of nodes. Each node has a type which can be a string
, a number , a date , or a
boolean .
A node defines the format of the data generated in the billable items and specifies a source field from the charged items or the refill records.
