An audit object is an administration object. You can create an audit object to search for user operations in the database. According to the criteria of the audit object, you can search for all user operations which can be audited. User operations are tasks that modify the database. For example, creating an object is a user operation.
Audits are stored in the database if the audit function is activated in the configuration files. For more information, refer to your Administrator.
The elements of the Audit window enable you to create an audit object. An audit allows administrators to query the database of the SAP Convergent Charging server for user operations using specific filters. You can retrieve specific user operations by using a filter. The filter is made up of criteria rows which specify the characteristics of the user operations you want to retrieve.
You can audit:
Any operation that modifies the database or the server state
Any operation that does not modify the database such as:
Search relating to objects (audits, for example)
Server shutdown
User authentication
Aging report execution
Any unsuccessful operation that does not modify the database
