Package com.sap.netweaver.bc.rf.mi.variant Description

Contains repository framework manager interface for variants.

A variant-enabled repository must report at least the first of the following SupportedOption constants - the second one is optional. com.sap.netweaver.bc.rf.common.variant.SupportedOption.VARIANT_RESOURCE_CONTENT_AND_PROPERTIES com.sap.netweaver.bc.rf.common.variant.SupportedOption.VARIANT_COLLECION_AND_LINK_PROPERTIES

In addition to the javadoc of the sub-manager interfaces a variant-enabled repository implementation has to take into account the following additional information for other sub-managers:

• The contract of the methods as defined in the specification of the package com.sapportals.wcm.repository.variants. Please note that the equivalent method in the repository manager interfaces might have a different name, e.g. ICollection.getChildren is mapped to INamespaceManager.findResources() and a "descriptor" parameter.
