Package com.sap.security.core.server.vsi.api Description

This package provides the JAVA interface 'Virus Scan Interface' (NW-VSI) and the JAVA serivce 'Virus Scan Provider' within the NetWeaver Application Server JAVA for using external virus scan products due to perform a virus scan within own applications.

The main class for using this API is VSIService. It allows you to create a scan instance of type Instance. Using the Instance object you can then scan for viruses with

• Instance.scanFile(String)
• Instance.scanBytes(byte[])
• Instance.scanStream(VSIFilterInputStream)
