Create Service Instance for SAP Asset Strategy and Performance Management API Access

Prerequisites

User should have Administrator access at both Global Account and Subaccount level.

Procedure

  1. Choose the global account that contains the subaccounts to which you'd like to add quotas. For more information, see Navigate to Global Accounts and Subaccounts.
  2. In the navigation area, choose Entitlements.

    You see a list of all the resources you are entitled to use.

  3. Choose Edit and add the quota for Asset Strategy and Performance Management .
  4. Use the + and buttons to adjust quotas in the specified limits.
    You can adjust quotas for only one subaccount at a time. To adjust quotas for multiple subaccounts, complete the changes for a single subaccount, save your changes, and choose Edit again to continue with another subaccount.
  5. In the navigation area, choose Spaces. Create a new space or if you already have a space you can use the existing space as well.

  6. Enter a space name and choose the permissions you'd like to assign to your ID, then choose Ok.
  7. In the navigation area, choose Service Marketplace where you will find the service tile for Asset Strategy and Performance Management.
  8. Click the service tile and choose Instances in the navigation area. Create a new instance by choosing the New Instance button.

  9. Choose Next for Choose Service Plan, Specify Parameters (Optional), and Assign Application (Optional). Give the suitable instance name in Instance Name input and choose Finish button.
  10. Select the newly created instance name.
  11. In the navigation area, choose Service Keys and click Create Service Key.
  12. Provide a suitable service key name and choose Save button.
  13. Now you can find Client Credentials in the service key-in the following parameters:

    Client Secret uaa.clientsecret
    Token URL uaa.url + ‘/oauth/token’
