Closing Requests in the Monitor for Real-Time Data Acquisition
Use
With real-time data acquisition, the requests (PSA requests, data transfer process requests and activation requests) remain open across several load processes. The requests are closed when the specified threshold values - set in the InfoPackage or for operational data provisioning in the data transfer process (DTP) - are reached, and new requests are opened with which the data transfer is continued. In the monitor for real-time data acquisition, you can close PSA and DTP requests manually.
If errors occur, you can close an open request manually, correct the error and then restart data transfer.
Prerequisites
The following applies to data transfer using the BW Service API or Web Service: The daemon has the status inactive (
) or incorrect (
).
Procedure
In the context menu for the PSA or DTP request, choose Close Request.
Result
The selected request and any related activation requests close.
