Entering Telephone Costs in Financial Accounting

To enter the postings in the Financial Accounting component (FI), choose Start of the navigation path Accounting Next navigation step Financial Accounting Next navigation step General Ledger End of the navigation path , then Start of the navigation path Document entry Next navigation step G/L account posting. To simplify account posting, you can enter the telephone costs in the Financial Accounting component with the posting from the collection cost center you created.

Note Note

If you have more detailed information from the documents, you can also post directly to the responsible cost centers from the Financial Accounting component when the invoice arrives. If this is the case, you do not need to allocate the telephone costs to the Controlling component (CO).
