Viewing Statistics

Use

You can see detailed statistics and an overview of the bounced mails processed by the Bounced Mail Framework (BMF).

Moving mail messages to Statistics is irreversible. Most of the message data is permanently deleted.

Only the following information is available:

Name of the client application processing the mail

  • Domain name of the remote address

Reason for mail rejection

Exact time of mail receipt

Sent Date

Exact date of mail sending

Sent Time

Exact time of mail sending

Mail ID

Mail ID assigned by the BMF

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Administer Bounced Mail Framework → Statistics.

    The overview contains a list of the mail messages, the number and percentage of mails with each different status, and a set of criteria for filtering mails.

  2. Optional: Filter the mails using some of the following criteria:
    • Period

      Only mails sent in a particular period are shown. To specify the period, choose one of the following:

      • Show by Period and specify the start date and end date.
      • Show by Last and specify a period in days, weeks, months, or years.
    • Client application

      Only mails processed by a particular application are shown.

    • Status

      Only mails with a particular status are shown.

      You can choose one of the following:

      • All
      • Lost in space
      • Valid
      • Bounced
      • Unrecognized

  3. Choose Show to view filtered mails.
