Toolbar

Use

The Toolbar ( CIC_TOOLBAR) component can be used to define the application toolbar. You can select the buttons you require from the available buttons here.

If you want to add buttons, you must define a customer-specific toolbar.

Integration

The toolbar provides buttons for Softphone control, such as Accept, Hold, Callback or Forward .

This End Contact button is part of the application toolbar. This button must never be removed from the application toolbar, since objects in a business transaction would not otherwise be connected to the interaction when it was terminated and data would be lost.

Even though the component is visible on the screen, it belongs to the invisible components, since it does not have a screen area (slot) in the framework.

Prerequisites

You have assigned the Toolbar component to a framework as an invisible component.

You have defined a configuration profile for the Toolbar component in the Customizing settings for Customer Service under Start of the navigation path Customer Interaction Center (CIC) Next navigation step Component Configuration Next navigation step Toolbars (GUI Status, Active Functions) Next navigation step [ End of the navigation path .

You have specified the GUI status. The GUI status defines which buttons are available to you.

  • PFS100: GUI status with buttons for telephony integration

  • PFS300: GUI status without buttons for telephony integration

You have then specified which buttons are to be removed from the application toolbar.

No other GUI status is provided. If you want to change a GUI status, you must use a user-defined GUI status.
