Grant agency commission as a discount

You have selected the Agency ord . indicator on the Details tab page at item level and the Grant agency commission as a discount indicator in the advertiser assignment if these indicators have not been defined from the sold-to party master data.

In a basic example, the system generates a billing dataset for each advertiser, publication date and booking unit that has been assigned to the document item.

The agency is granted agency commission as a discount. The system deducts agency commission directly during price determination as opposed to assigning this separately.

Grant agency commission separately

You have selected the Agency ord . indicator on the Details tab page at item level and the Grant agency commission separately indicator in the advertiser assignment if these indicators have not been defined from the sold-to party master data. When creating the document item, you selected an item category to which an item category has been assigned in Customizing that defines the item category for billing datasets that are generated for separate agency commission

The system generates an additional billing dataset for separate agency commission for each billing dataset.

Agency commission can be granted separately as an invoice item or on a separate invoice.

Do not grant agency commission

The Agency ord . indicator has been defined from the sold-to party master data and you have selected the on the item detail screen. You have selected the Do not grant agency commission indicator in the advertiser assignment if this has not also been defined from the sold-to party master data
