No technical system is connected to the
Advertising Management
System.
An ad schedule line has been published. Status characteristics are to be set or positioning and ad spec data such as the actual size of the ad spec that would have been returned to the
Advertising Management
System if a technical system had been connected is to be entered. A production completion confirmation is to be created.
This function has a selection and display screen.
Selection
The following selection criteria are available to you on the selection screen:

The publication booking unit describes the basic booking unit in which the ad is published. To determine all schedule lines that have been generated for a combined booking unit, enter the basic booking units that make up the combined booking unit in the

During selection, the system determines all schedule lines with publication dates that fall within the specified selection period. The system only displays schedule lines that fall within the selection period even if you enter a publication period that does not fall within this period for an ad item. |
|
If you select this indicator, the system displays published and unpublished schedule lines in the table. If you select this indicator, the system displays published and unpublished schedule lines in the table. |
Selection is sales area-independent.
Display
The system displays ad schedule lines that match the selection criteria in a table on the display screen. Schedule lines are sorted in ascending order by sales document, item, sub-item and schedule line numbers. You can however use the
Sort
function to sort this list differently.
The system displays the status characteristics and the positioning and ad spec data for each schedule line.
Change status characteristics
To perform a manual on-screen mark up check, you should set the
Closing date past
,
Positioning complete
,
Exposed
and Schedule line published
status characteristics
.
If setting the status characteristics means that the schedule line status reaches status level 60 (
processing complete, no longer modifiable
), you can no longer enter positioning and ad spec data for the schedule line. The system enters status characteristics in the schedule line status during document processing.
If an ad spec is assigned to several schedule lines and one of these schedule lines has reached status level
50 (Complete, released, partially processed)
or
60 (Processing complete, no longer modifiable)
, you can no longer change the ad spec data even if the ad spec status has not yet reached status level
50
or
60
.
You do not create a production completion confirmation by setting status characteristics. You must modify the positioning data for the schedule line to create a production completion confirmation.
Change positioning data
If you change positioning data in a schedule line, the system sets the
Closing date past
,
Positioning complete
,
Exposed
and Schedule line published
status characteristics automatically. The system does not generate new billing datasets for these orders even if the data that has been changed is relevant to price.
Positioning data includes the following:
Basic booking unit
Publication date
Content component, special publication
Page from, page to, positioning information in the technical system, ad spec position on the page, name of the article
If you change the positioning data, the system enters this data in the order and displays it as follows during document processing:

You can evaluate the changed positioning instructions statistically or print these as comments on the invoices (
Your ad has been published on page 10).
If the sales document to which the sales document belongs is being edited, you can change this schedule line but the system will not update your change.
Change ad spec data
If you change ad spec data in a schedule line, the system does not set the
Closing date past

status characteristics. You do not create a production completion confirmation. The system generates new billing datasets for this order if the data that has been changed is relevant to price.
If you change the ad spec data in a schedule line to which an ad spec that is also assigned to other schedule lines is assigned, you change the ad spec data for all schedule lines to which this ad spec is assigned.
Ad spec data includes the following:
Ad spec identification number in the technical system
Actual width, actual height, technical width, technical height, unit of measurement for height and width information, additional unit of measurement for settlement, technical area share used by an ad spec
Ad spec color scheme, color names
Typography
Border type, border width, unit of measurement for border width
Reverse indicator
Amount of artwork
Grid
Technically complete
indicator
If you change the ad spec data, you can continue to enter positioning and ad spec data in the schedule line. The changed ad spec data is entered in the order. The system displays the planned and actual values for the ad spec on the ad spec detail screen.
If you set the
Technically complete
status characteristic, you can no longer enter ad spec data for the schedule line if the ad spec status has reached status level 60.
The system defines the actual ad spec size and color scheme using the planned ad spec size and color scheme in the order and enters this information in the table.
You cannot enter the actual ad spec size and color scheme on the ad spec detail screen. To record the actual ad spec size and color scheme in the order, you must change the ad spec data in the manual on-screen mark up check.
If the
Ad spec incomplete
status characteristic is selected in the item status for an ad item even though the ad spec data appears to be complete, this means that the actual ad spec size has been defined for settlement in Customizing and this information has not yet been recorded in the order.

Change published schedule lines
You can no longer modify the positioning and ad spec data in a schedule line if it has already been published. If a schedule line is not published even though the
Closing date past
,
Positioning complete
,
Exposed
and Schedule line published
status characteristics have been set in the
Advertising Management
System, you should select the schedule line and choose
Edit
→ Not published. You can now enter ad spec and positioning data for the schedule line. You can create a new production completion confirmation.
Change page definition
If the page definition algorithm changes in the pagination system, select the
Transfer
to technical system
indicator
.
The system transfers the schedule line to the technical system again. The order is updated and the page definition algorithm in the pagination system is run. This algorithm can mean that an ad that was not previously page-defining becomes page-defining.
Additional editing functions
To navigate in the order whilst changing the document data, select a document item and choose
