Create combination sales
You specify the combination sale type when you create a combination sale. The combination sale type specifies which price is determined for a document item that is placed in a combination sale and how the system processes this type of sale for statistical purposes.
You can combine document items, sub-items and schedule lines in a combination sale. You can for instance combine document items with document items, sub-items and/or schedule lines. You can also combine sub-items with schedule lines.
You can create more than one combination sale in a sales document. The system displays a combination sale number for each advertising combination. You can use this number to distinguish combination sales and to identify which document items, sub-items and/or schedule lines are combined in which combination sales.
Note
If you have combined sub-items or schedule lines with document items, sub-items or schedule lines in a combination sale, the system only displays the combination sale in its complete form when you expand the hierarchy tree.
Settlement of combination sales
If you combine several document items in a combination sale, the system generates one billing dataset.
If you have combined schedule lines from a combined booking unit with document items, sub-items or schedule lines in a combination sale, the system generates one billing dataset if you have selected the
Proportional sett
., or
Sep.settle.schd.line
indicators in the combined booking unit master data.
If you have not selected these indicators in the master data for a combined booking unit, the system also generates one billing dataset here if the combination sale refers to the schedule line that the system generated from the reference basic booking unit for the combined booking unit.
Example
Customer
A
places an ad in the
Local total
combined booking unit that consists of the
Local A
and
Local B
basic booking units. You have defined the
Local A
basic booking unit as the reference basic booking unit in the master data for the
Local Total
combined booking unit and have not selected the
Proportional
sett
. or
Sep.settle.schd.line
indicators.
A trial sample is to be attached to the ad that is published in the
Local A
basic booking unit.
You create an ad item and an ad insert item.
If you combine the schedule line generated by the system for the
Local B
basic booking unit with the ad insert item in a combination sale, the system generates two billing datasets.
If you combine the schedule line generated by the system for the
Local A
basic booking unit with the ad insert item in a combination sale, the system generates one billing dataset.
To create a combination sale, select the document items, sub-items and/or schedule lines that you want to combine as a combination sale and choose .
