Display Business Partners in the Business Partner Overview

Use

This function is used to display business partners that match the given selection criteria in a list.

Prerequisites

The business partner master data for a media customer is to be determined. The selection criteria you entered were not unique. You have for example attempted to determine a sold-to party called Jones or Smith using the Name , First name and/or City selection criteria.

If the selection criteria had been unique, the item overview screen would have appeared.

You have defined business partner data display in the business partner overview as follows in Customizing:

Business partner data is to be displayed as follows in the business partner overview:

Business partner data	Prerequisite
Only display valid addresses in the business partner overview	You have selected the Address validity indicator.
Display a business partner once in each role in the business partner overview	You have selected the Unique BP selection indicator.
Display the sales area-dependent and/or sales are-independent order and billing blocks in the business partner overview	You have selected the Read doc.blocks indicator. This indicator means that the order and billing block indicators for defining display variants are included in the All fields field catalog. If you want to include the order and billing block indicators in the business partner selection, you should define the respective display variant or include the indicator in the current display variant.
Initially display media customers only in the business partner overview	You have selected the Media customers only first indicator.

Features

Display

The system displays business partners who match the given selection criteria in a list in the business partner overview. The list is sorted in ascending order by Name 1, Name 2 and City. You can also use the Sort and Display variants functions to sort this list differently.

Display variants allow you to create standard and user-specific variants that you can define as initial variants for displaying the business partner in the overview.

The following data is displayed for each business partner in the basic variant provided:

Business partner identification key
Business partner role
Address data for the business partner
Validity period of the business partner address
Indicator that specifies that the business partner exists in the current sales area.
Business partner telephone number

Editing functions

The following functions for editing the business partner overview are available to you in addition to the standard SAP List Viewer functions:

Function	Use	Prerequisite
Determine sales documents	Access the item overview from the business partner overview and determine sales documents that have been created for one or more business partners. If a sales document has been created for a business partner, the item overview appears. If no sales document has been created for a business partner, you remain on the selection screen.	Resume selection without returning to the selection screen. You have selected one or more business partners and chosen Copy BP.
Access previous screen	Access the selection screen from the business partner overview and copy the address, communication and bank data for the selected business partner.	Copy address, communication and bank data for a business partner on the selection screen. You have selected one business partner.
Display business partner master data	Access the business partner master data from the overview and display the general business partner data.	Display agency data for a business partner. You have selected one business partner.
Change address data	Access central address management from the overview and change the business partner address.	Create a relocation or additional address for a sold-to party. You have selected one business partner.
Display sales summaries	Access the sales summary for a media customer from the business partner overview and display all sales support information.	Display the sales volume and business partners involved in orders for a media customer. You have selected one business partner and defined an info view in the user parameters.
Access contract monitoring	Access contract monitoring for the selected business partner from the business partner overview.	Display the current contract standing for contracts that are held by this business partner.
