Mass Processing of Folder Metadata

Prerequisites

  • Mass processing of folder metadata is only possible for folders of the same class.

  • The folders to be processed must be assigned in the same class. Folders divided among a number of classes cannot be processed above the higher-level class.

Context

With this function, you can select folders in a class in order to change the attribute values of particular metadata at the same time as part of mass processing.

Procedure


  1. Place the cursor on a class and choose the menu entry Select Record in the application toolbar using ( Record).

    In the dialog box Select Record you see an overview of all folders assigned to this class.

  2. Select all folders in which metadata should be changed and choose ( Select).

  3. Choose the menu entry Change Folder Attributes in the application toolbar using ( Record).

    In the dialog box Maintain Attributes, all changeable attributes for processing are displayed.

  4. Change the attribute values according to your requirements and choose ( Save).

Results

The attribute values are changed in all folders selected.
