Cross-Service Provider Search

Use

A cross-service provider object search is available in Records and Case Management for The National Archives. You can use it to search in all existing classes, folders, parts, documents and incoming post items using attribute values.

Alternatively, you can use a search function restricted to element type (see Search by Element).

Features

• Configuring Search Attributes

  You can set up the available attributes according to your requirements in the content model used.

• Saving the Search Query as a Search Variant

  If you often have to use the same queries for a search, you can save search queries under Search Variants and use them again in the selection list. Note that search variants are saved for each specific user. This means that you can only use the search variants you created.

You start the cross-service provider search in the work area Work Environment under Find Object.
