Current Location List

Use

You can use this function to obtain an overview of the current location of elements that are only in paper form and not saved in the system for the element types Case, Incoming Post Item, and Record.

You can also process the list further and change the current location data if necessary.

Prerequisites

When elements that are only in paper form are created, the attributes that give more specific information on the current location must be entered. You can enter the following attributes:

• Type of address of current location

• Comment on current location

• Current location

• Date of current location

You are on the electronic desk screen in the area Work Environment.

Activities

Activities If you select this function, you are taken to the Search Function. In the search function, you can limit the search to particular attributes of the current location, or to other attributes.

When you search for cases, you go directly to the current location list. In the search for incoming post items and records, you are taken to the result list of the search. You can select elements from this list. The current location list is then displayed for the objects selected.

The following processing options are available for the current location list:

• Print

• Export

• Send as Mail

You can also navigate to an element by double clicking from the current location list or using the function Detail and then change the attributes for the current location, if necessary.
