Deleting Temporary Objects
Use
You can use this function to delete temporary objects whose residence time has expired.
Temporary objects are unimportant documents that do not have to be retained in the record or in the cases for long periods. The residence time describes this period in years that have to pass before the temporary objects can be deleted. The entry date of the documents is used to calculate the residence time of temporary objects.
Prerequisites
The residence time for temporary objects must be defined for each Records Management system in Customizing of Records and Case Management.

To carry out his function, select from the electronic desk.
Example
The residence time of temporary documents was set to one year in Customizing. You execute the program for deleting temporary objects on 12.12.2002. The program deletes all documents flagged with the attribute "temporary objects" with an entry date before 12.12.2001.
