Series Characteristics In series sales, the series characteristic for each product determines how the system determines subsequent issues.
The settings for each
series characteristic
are stored under a unique key in the system. You define series characteristics in Customizing. IMG path:
Each
series product
is assigned a
series characteristic

The most important setting in the
series characteristic
is the shipping characteristic. It determines how planning takes place for the next issues.
You can only make additional settings for shipping characteristic type 2 . You can decide for this type whether the planning records are displayed in the media-specific data on the contract item and whether issues can be included retroactively in planning.
