Off-Cycle Payroll Run for Vacation Payment (HFICVAC0)This function processes the advance vacation payments for the employees using an off-cycle payroll run.
For processing the advance vacation payments, the report generates information on employee vacations from the past, current and future payroll periods.
For the selected employee(s), the records exist for the following infotypes:
Absences
infotype (2001)
Absence Quota
infotype (2006)
The report computes the vacation payments based on the vacations accrued by an employee and the vacation days being availed.
To access the report from the SAP Easy Access
screen, choose
Enter the relevant selection criteria
Leave Selection
You can choose to generate the off-cycle for vacation days that have already been deducted or not yet been deducted. You can also choose to process the off-cycle based on both deducted and available vacation quota.
Other data
Ensure that you specify FI00 as the Schema
for the off-cycle payroll. This is the schema for the Finnish payroll.
To execute the report, choose .

screen appears, listing the following information, for the selected employees:
Payment date
Start date of the vacation period
Absence type
Payroll run status
To process the off-cycle as a test run, you can select either:
Test/Display log
Processes the advance vacation payroll as a test run and generates a payroll log
Test/W/o log
Processes the advance vacation payroll as a test run without generating a payroll log
To process the advance vacation payments using the off-cycle run, select Execute process
. You can process the off-cycle payroll for one or more employee records.
Recommendation
We recommend that you process the off-cycle payroll as a test run before executing the final off-cycle payroll as you can correct the errors, if any.
The results of the advance vacation payment processed through an off-cycle payroll are available to the standard payroll run. This is required for the payment of the second vacation bonus and for any changes to the vacation pay because of a change in salary.
