Cancel-Part Relationships You can define a progression for the exchange or swapping of structure node variants of the master parts list. For example, a part represented by an iPPE structure variant could replace an older part, that is, another structure node variant of the same structure node. The part to be replaced is also known as a cancel part.
You can use cancel-part relationships within the
Configuration Control
component.
You maintain the part sequence in the
iPPE Workbench
by using the
classification system
for iPPE structure node variants. You can assign a structure node variant to multiple classes.
A master parts list with structure nodes and structure node variants exists for the desired technical object.
A class , a class type , and characteristics are maintained in Customizing. These settings are used as the basis for determining the cancel-part characteristic among other classification data.

After activating the BAdI implementation PPE_MENU_PARTPROG of the BAdI PPEGI_CTMENU you can display a

You can find the corresponding implementation from the

In Customizing, you can activate the check of the cancel-part relationships for the installation of equipment in available structure gaps. The cancel-part check establishes whether a structure node variant is valid according to defined part progressions.
