Creating a Contract Line Items Document in a Contract Workspace using the Contract Line Items Document Management API

The Contract Line Items Document Management API can be implemented in a client application to create a Contract Line Items Document (CLID) in a contract workspace.

Prerequisites

You must have the ID of the contract workspace where you want to create the CLID.

Context

The POST /contractWorkspaces/{contractId}/contractLineItemDocuments endpoint of the Contract Line Items Document Management API enables you to create a CLID in a contract workspace. You can create a query body specifying the fields to be included in the CLID.

Procedure

Invoke the POST /contractWorkspaces/{contractId}/contractLineItemDocuments endpoint.
Where,

  • user, is the ID of the user on whose behalf the API call is invoked. This is a required parameter.

  • passwordAdapter, is the password for authenticating the user on whose behalf the request was initiated. This is a required parameter.

  • realm, is the SAP Ariba Contracts site to which the API request is sent. This is a required parameter.

In the request body, specify the fields that you want to add to the CLID. A sample request body is as follows:
