Automatic Generation of WCM Objects You can automatically generate WCM objects for orders. Through this, all the WCM objects necessary for executing a lockout/tagout are created.
Thus you can generate the corresponding WCM objects, in particular for those orders that were created during the scheduling of maintenance plans.
The orders have operations with the control key WCM .
The first user fieldfor these operations must contain the key of the WCM object, and the second user field must contain the type.
For example, if a work clearance application is assigned to an operation as a template, then automatic generation will generate all of the Operational WCDs that you defined in the template, in addition to the work clearance application.
The orders have the status
CRTD (Created).
The orders are not locked by any user.
Internal number assignment is defined in Customizing for all WCM objects to be generated.
Additional prerequisites if Valuation is activated:
The orders have the status
VAL (Valuated).
To generate WCM objects automatically, execute program RIWC0016. This executable program:
Activates work clearance management for the orders, if necessary
Generates all the WCM objects necessary for a lockout/tagout from the orders and assigns them to each other
Optimizes the number of Operational WCDs
Through this, the system supplies the individual WCM objects with the following data:
The system bases the work approval and the work clearance application on either the template (if specified) or the corresponding order. The system copies the planning data from the order. It copies the responsible work center from the order header to use as the work center.
The system bases the Operational WCD on the WCD template . The system copies the planning data from the order.
The following graphic illustrates the automatic generation of WCM objects based on the standard model .
