Scheduling a Time-Based Maintenance Plan for the First Time

Prerequisites

When you schedule a maintenance plan, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

  • The scheduling data is maintained.

  • The maintenance plan contains at least one maintenance item.

  • Task lists are assigned to the maintenance items.

Procedure

  1. In the maintenance planning menu , choose Start of the navigation path Scheduling Next navigation step Schedule End of the navigation path .

  2. You reach the initial screen for scheduling a maintenance plan.

  3. Enter the number of the maintenance plan you want to schedule, and choose Continue .

  4. You reach the Maintenance Schedule screen.

  5. To start the scheduling function, choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Start End of the navigation path .

  6. The system displays the field Start of cycle as ready for input.

  7. Enter the date on which you want scheduling to start, and choose Continue .

  8. The system automatically calculates the planned dates and call dates based on the maintenance packages and the scheduling parameters .

    If necessary, you can cancel scheduling (see Canceling Scheduling ).

  9. Save the scheduled maintenance plan.
