Configuring the ICF Service

Prerequisites

You have administration rights on the SAP NetWeaver Application Server.

Context

SAP NetWeaver Mobile provides the following default ICF services:

DOESUP_MEC

Used for the MEC entry point.

DOE_XSD_DATATYP

Used for referencing the SDOE data types while setting up the enterprise tool for each of the WSDL files.

SDOE_ESD_APPLN_SETUP

Used for setting up the MEC application setup wizard.

These ICF services need to be active before an outside agent can access it.

Procedure

  1. Log on to SAP NetWeaver Application Server and start the transaction SICF.
  2. Enter the required service name.
  3. Right-click the service name and select Activate service to activate the service.
