Troubleshooting a Lack of Confirmations for Delta Uploads

Use

When you upload a delta message from the device, you should receive a confirmation or rejection message from the DOE. If you do not receive these messages, you check the following aspects:

Procedure

If the Inbound Queue Is in an Error Status

The messages uploaded from a device go through the device's inbound queue before reaching the DOE for processing. If an error occurs in this queue, the uploads from the device cannot proceed to the DOE. To diagnose this, follow the steps given below:

  1. Log on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

  2. Choose Administration .

  3. Under Device Management , choose Device Administration .

  4. Below Search Devices , enter the required device name and choose Go .

  5. Select the device and note the queue number of the device.

  6. Execute transaction SMQ2 and enter the name of the queue below Queue Name .

  7. Verify if there is an error.

  8. Reset the queue status and release it to resolve the error.

If Message Processing Is Unsuccessful in the DOE

If the data that you uploaded from the device is not appropriate, the DOE may stop the processing of the message and display an error message.

  1. Log on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

  2. Below Monitoring , choose Message Monitoring .

  3. Below Search Devices , enter the required device name and choose Go .

  4. From the Search Results , verify if there is a message with an error status.

  5. Restart the message to resolve the error.
