The errors that occur while generating an MEC can have the following reasons:

Back-End Search RFC Function Modules not Configured Correctly

You need to configure the search function modules in the MEC to have a valid destination. If you do not configure this, the XYZ RFC FM has no back-end destination defined error occurs during MEC generation.

Configured RFC Destination Does not Work Correctly

If the RFC destination that connects to the back-end system is not working, the MEC generation is unsuccessful. You need to change the settings appropriately after verifying the RFC destination connection.
