Viewing Configuration Changes through Message Monitoring

Context

The configuration changes that are sent to a client can be viewed through the message monitoring function in the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

When the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) sends configuration updates to the client device, the client updates its configuration parameters and sends a message to the DOE. The message contains the configuration details that are updated on the client. The DOE records these changes in the CLIENT_FEEDBACK data object of the device. This data object is available in the SAP BASIS 7.10 software component version (SWCV).

To view the configuration changes on a client device, you must view the message contents of the CLIENT_FEEDBACK data object of that particular device.

Procedure


  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathMonitoring Next navigation step Message MonitoringEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Enter the following details:

  3. Choose Search .

  4. Select the device for which you want to view the message.

  5. Choose View Message Body .

  6. In the Message Structure area, select FEEDBACK_NODE to view the configuration changes on the device.
