Assigning Agent Configurations to a Device Profile

Prerequisites

You have created a device profile.
You have logged on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

Context

If you want to assign an agent configuration to a device or a set of devices, you must first assign it to a device profile and then assign the device profile to the required devices. As a result, when you assign the device profile to the required devices, the agent configuration and its agents are assigned to the respective devices.

Procedure

Choose the Administration tab page.
Under Device Management , choose Device Profile Administration .
Enter the required search criteria and choose Start Search .
From the search results, select the required device profile.
In the Device Profile Operations screen area, choose Manage Agent Configurations .
Under Available Agent Configurations , enter the required search criteria and choose Go .
From the search results, select the required agent configurations.

Use the arrow buttons to add or remove agent configurations

Note

If you need to execute a mobile component descriptor of type DBStatistics in the client, you need to assign an agent configuration to the device profile. Assign the parameter com.sap.tc.mobile.cfs.launch.script with the value MCDNAME | VERSION | true in the agent configuration, and assign the agent configuration to the device profile.
Choose Save .
