Assigning DM Software Component Versions to a Device

Prerequisites

You have logged on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

You can assign additional distribution model (DM) software component versions to a device based on your requirements.

Choose the Administration tab page.
Under Device Management , choose Device Administration .
Under Search for Devices , enter the required search criteria and choose Start Search .
From the search results, select the required device.
In the Operations screen area, choose Manage DMSWCVs .

If some DM software component versions are already assigned, they are displayed under Assigned DMSWCVs .
Choose Assign More DM SWCVs .
1. Select the required DM software component versions and choose Assign DMSWCVs .
  
  The selected DM software component versions are assigned to the device and displayed in the Non-conflicting DMSWCVs screen area.
2. Repeat this step to assign additional DM software component versions.
Choose Save .

Note

If multiple DM software component versions are displayed in Conflicting DMSWCVs , the device has a DM software component version conflict. To resolve this conflict, you must ensure that only one DM software component version remains active. Therefore, after you identify the DM software component version that must remain active, you must deselect all the other DM software component versions.
