Retrieving CDS Contents

Use

You use this procedure to retrieve content that was deleted from the Consolidated Data Store (CDS).

Prerequisites

You have deleted the CDS contents.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the SAP NetWeaver Application Server.

  2. In the navigation pane, choose Start of the navigation pathData Orchestration Engine Next navigation step Development Next navigation step Data Orchestration WorkbenchEnd of the navigation path

  3. Search the required SWCV.

  4. Choose the SWCV from the search results.

  5. In the Utilities menu, choose CDS Deletion and Retrieval .

  6. Choose the Retrieval tab page.

  7. In the Retrieval Type field, select any of the following options:

    • If you want to retrieve contents based on the time at which they were deleted, select the Time-Based option.

    • If you want to retrieve contents based on keys that were deleted, select the Key-Based option.

  8. Provide the necessary details.

  9. Choose Execute Retrieval .
