Impact of ACM on the Work with PLM Web UI
Access control management (ACM) can influence your work with the Web user interface (Web UI) of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (SAP PLM) by controlling your access to business objects. For more information, see Access Control Management (ACM).
In Customizing, you have made the settings for the Authorizations and Access Control Contexts

Before giving you access to an object, the system determines your authorizations for the activity you want to execute on the selected object. For more information, see Determination of Object Access.
When you create a new object on the Web UI, you can assign the object to an owning context. For more information, see Assignment of New Objects to Owning Contexts.
