Organizational Assignment if Organizational Management is Integrated If you have implemented the
Organizational Unit Management
component, the
Actions (0000)
and
Organizational Assignment (0001)
infotypes contain fields in which you can enter the staffing percentage for the position.
Enter data for a position in this infotype in the
Position
field only
.
The data on a position must be linked to the other organizational assignment data in the organizational plan of
Organizational Management
. The
Account Assignment Features (1008)
and
Employee Group/Subgroup (1013)
infotypes are available for this purpose. If these conditions are met, the system automatically fills the
Personnel Area
,
Employee Group
and
Employee Subgroup
fields when you carry out the hiring procedure for a new employee.
Note
In the case of follow-on personnel actions or an organizational change, the
Personnel subarea
,
Employee group
, and
Employee subgroup
fields already contain default values before you assign a new position. If you delete these default values and choose Enter , the system will automatically fill these fields with the new position data.
If you decide to fill the
Personnel Area, Employee Group
and
Employee Subgroup
fields manually, the SAP System checks these values against the data stored for the position.
The additional
Percentage
field enables you to determine the employee’s staffing percentage for the position.
Note
You should interpret the staffing percentage entered in conjunction with the (planned) working hours for this position. The (planned) working hours are stored in the position-staffing schedule in
Organizational Management
.
If the staffing percentage is less than 100%, the system displays additional fields for you to assign the employee to additional positions within
Organizational Management
.
Note
The
Personnel Administration
component can only manage one record of the
Organizational Assignment
infotype (0001) for an employee (i.e. one personnel number).
If you assign several positions, only the data for the position with the highest staffing percentage is taken into account in reports, for example.
