You can use this function to associate academic work with subrequirements incrementally. If this did not happen, all academic work that satisfied the subrequirement conditions would be consumed.

Incremental assignment of academic work is only applicable for index-dependent subrequirements; not for index-independent subrequirements.

Incremental assignment of academic work may not be valid for all the filters; for example, it does not make sense to use this function to calculate an average. In this case, you can decide in Customizing which filters should have incremental assignment.

Prerequisites

  • You have created subrequirements.

  • You have chosen which filters have incremental assignment, by making the settings in Customizing for Student Lifecycle Management under Start of the navigation path Master Data in Student Lifecycle Management Next navigation step Performance Indexes Next navigation step Define Academic Performance Indexes End of the navigation path

Example

A subrequirement may demand that a student complete two modules from a module group. If the student has completed four modules from the same module group, only two modules should be used; not all four modules.
