Use

In rule containers, you can combine rule modules.You can assign rule containers to a program or module if you want the system to check the rules that apply to this program or module.You can also assign rule containers to a program or module from the program catalog and module catalog respectively.

Prerequisites

You have defined the rule modules you want to assign to rule containers.

Procedure

To create a new rule container:

Choose  ( Create ).

Check if the validity start date is correct.

Enter an abbreviation and a name for the rule container.

Enter a general description of the rule container and assign the rule modules to it.

Choose  ( Save ).

To link the rule container with other objects, call the rule container in the change mode (following procedure).

To change an existing rule container:

Choose an existing rule container using the search function.

Choose  ( Change ).

Edit the rule container.

To do so, select the infotype you want to change and choose ( Change ).

Save your changes.
