You use this function to manage progression rules that are based on the BRFplus Framework. The system provides the example application SLcM BRF+ Rules.

Integration

The integration between the progression framework and the BRFplus framework is provided using the class CL_HRPIQ00_BRFP_RULEMANAGER. This calls the FDT workbench methods to perform the execution of the Standard BRFplus function SLCM_STUDENT_PROGRESS_RESULT.

Prerequisites

Activate the BRFplus Framework in Customizing for Student Lifecycle Management under Start of the navigation path Processes in Student Lifecycle Management Next navigation step Program Type Progression Next navigation step Enable BRFplus Framework for Managing Progression Rules End of the navigation path. This setting disables the VSR progression rules defined in the system

This function is available if you have activated the business function SLCM, Progression Results Evaluation with BRFplus (ISHER_BRFP_PROGRESSION).

Activities

You can copy and modify the example application SLcM BRF+ Rules (ISHER_SLCM_BRFP_BRULES) according to your requirements. You define BRFplus functions, BRFplus expressions and BRFplus rulesetson an individual basis in the copy that you make.
