Master Data Indexes

Use

You use master data indexes to obtain an overview of the master data that has been created. Apart from this, you can use master data indexes to display assignments of master data objects from Funds Management to master data objects from other components.

Features

The following types of master data indexes are available:

Lists sorted alphabetically
Hierarchy graphics for funds centers, commitment items and the budget structure
Assignments of FM account assignments (funds center, commitment item and fund) to master data objects from other components

These assignments can be displayed in the information system when you have assigned the FM account assignment to the master data objects of the other component desired.

WBS elements	Using Project System component FM account assignment assigned to the WBS element

G/L account	Using Financial Accounting component Commitment item defined in the G/L account
Cost elements	Using Controlling component Commitment item to cost element

Note Note

To improve system performance, your selection should be as specific as possible. If you do not make any selections, the system evaluates the whole hierarchy.
