Creating a Nutrient This procedure describes how you create the specificationof a nutrient.
Choose
Substance
in the
recipe workbench
by double-clicking it.
Choose
with the quick info text
Create
.
Enter the required data on the
Specification Header
tab page. Take the following into account when choosing the
specification type:
You assign a nutrient to a nutrient group by specifying its specification in a particular specification listing in the property tree of the nutrient group. However, depending on the settings you make in Customizing, you can only assign specifications that belong to certain specification types. You specify which these are as follows:
You specify which value assignment type the specification listing of the nutrients contains in Customizing for
Recipe Management
in the IMG activity
Define and Assign Values to Environment Parameters
in the FRML_ESTCAT_NUTR_LIST environment parameter (Specification Listing: Nutrients).
For this value assignment type, you define which specification types a specification must belong to so that it can be specified in the listing. You do this in Customizing for the
Environment, Health and Safety
(EH&S) component in the IMG activity
Specify Value Assignment Types
. This is the specification type NUTRIENT in the standard system.
Choose the
Identifiers
tab page and enter identifiers for the nutrient.
Make the required entries on the other tab pages and in the property tree and save your entries.
Note
You can specify quantity limits for each nutrient within which the nutrient occurs in real substances. The system does not then accept any entries in the real substances that are outside the limits that were specified. You enter the quantity limits in the value assignment type that you specified in Customizing for
Recipe Management
in the environment parameter FRML_ESTCAT_NTR_PLAUS_LIMIT. This is the value assignment type
Plausibility Limits
in the standard system The specified limits refer to the reference quantity of the nutrient, that is, to the quantity that you specified in Customizing in the environment parameters FRML_NUTR_REF_UNIT and FRML_NUTR_REF_VALUE.
For more information about editing specifications, see Specification Management (EHS-BD-SPE) in the EH&S component.
