Redefining a BAPI

Procedure

To redefine a BAPI of a subtype, perform the following steps:

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathTools Next navigation step Business Framework Next navigation step BAPI Development Next navigation step Business Object BuilderEnd of the navigation path or enter transaction code SWO1.

  2. Display the subtype just created in the change mode.

  3. Position the cursor on the BAPI you want to modify and choose Start of the navigation pathEdit Next navigation step RedefineEnd of the navigation path.

  4. Double-click on the BAPI and select the ABAP register.

  5. In the Name field of the modified function module enter and save your information.
