Reviewing the Collected Traces

Prerequisites

Run the Security Troubleshooting Wizard and reproduce the problem you have.

Procedure

Filtering the results

You can filter the collected traces by user, thread, or trace location:

  1. Find the required user, thread, or trace location in the respective column.

  2. Click the cell with the required value.

  3. To remove the filter, choose the Remove Filter button at the top of the trace list.

Locating the errors in the collected traces

If there are errors in the collected traces, a button with the name Go To First Error appears at the top of the trace list:

  1. Choose the Go To First Error button to go directly to the first error.

  2. Click in the Severity column of an error to go to the next error.

Locating the warnings in the collected traces

If there are warnings in the collected traces, a button with the name Go To First Warning appears at the top of the trace list:

  1. Choose the Go To First Warning button to go directly to the first warning.

  2. Click in the Severity column of a warning to go to the next warning.

Locating the login attempts in the collected traces

If there are login attempts in the collected traces, a button with the name Go To First Login appears at the top of the trace list:

  1. Choose the Go To First Login button to go directly to the first login attempt.

  2. Click in the Message column of a login attempt to go to the next login attempt.
