Configuration of the Virus Scan Interface
In principle the configuration of the Virus Scan Interface is the same no matter what kind of stack for SAP NetWeaver Application Server (SAP NetWeaver AS) you use.
Use
The configuration primarily uses the Virus Scan Adapter. However, specific procedures are stack dependent. For SAP NetWeaver AS for ABAP, you should only fall back on the Virus Scan Server in exceptional cases.
