Executing Automatic Determination of ROC HorizonMaterial requirements for rotable components are often sporadic. This means that it is difficult to determine how many days you may have to look into the past without knowing exactly when movements have occurred. This report assists you in determining the periods through the input of a hit rate.
Movements have taken place for the material concerned.
Caution
You should not use this report for new components. Instead you should determine an initial range of coverage (ROC) in the ROC parameters. You can do this on FFF class level, and/or CMC inventory group level, and/or CMC profile level.
Depending on the application that you use, choose:
Enter the FFF class or the material number for the relevant component.
Complete the required fields:
CMC Profile : This is the profile that you use in the CMC and that is defined in Customizing for the CMC.
Number of Hits: This is the number of days in the past that you want the system to search for goods movements per day. The system searches for the number of defined days in the past on which movements actually took place for the FFF class or material.
A hit rate of 10 means that the system searches for the last 10 days in the past on which goods movements (transfer postings, consumptions) actually occurred for the relevant component and converts the resulting timeframe into an input horizon for the ROC calculation.
Execute the report.
The system displays a list of cumulative consumptions per day for the relevant FFF class or material. You enter the number of total consumptions into the Periods backward field of the ROC parameters .
