Maintaining Work Center-Specific Priority Settings

Use

Usually the CMC priority settings on plant level that you define in Customizing are sufficient. However, in exceptional cases you may require additional settings on work-center-level. In such cases you have to define these settings in your productive client.

These Customizing settings belong to current settings in a productive client. This means that all users with authorization can maintain settings that are usually only available in a Customizing client. For this reason, we recommend only expert users have authorization for these functions.

Prerequisites

You have maintained rotable order codes in Customizing for the CMC.

Procedure

    The Change View "Choose PM/CS Order Code": Overview screen appears.

  3. Select the order code for which you want to define work-center-specific priority settings.

  4. Choose activity Maintain Priority Settings on Order Code Level .

  5. The Determine Work Area: Entry dialog box appears.

  6. Enter the work center for which you want to define the priority settings.

  7. Choose Continue.

  8. The Change View "Maintain Priority Settings on Order Code level": Overview screen appears.

  9. Maintain the priority settings for the work center.

  11. Save your entries.
