Technical Debriefing

Use

A technical debriefing with the pilot and crew is required after each flight to collect technical data in measurement documents and localize defects and malfunctions and record them in malfunction reports.

This technical debriefing is carried out using the standard functions in the logbook so that malfunction reports and measurement documents can be entered for a logbook entry, for example. You can use the table entry for measurement documents to create operating values.

During the technical debriefing, the reference to a flight, and thus to a crew, is established using the connection between the logbook entry and the corresponding flight.

You can assign forms for debriefing to both a flight and malfunction report using the SAP document management system to describe the cause of a malfunction precisely, for example.

Integration

All the functions for the technical debriefing are based on the functions in the logbook and maintenance processing.

Features

The technical debriefing uses the following functions:

  • Entering operating data with reference to the flight.

    You can enter important operating data for each flight (such as flight times, G-values in the cockpit, operating values of engines, data for aircraft instruments) and save this data for evaluation purposes. You can create a reference to the flight and crew for all data entered.

  • Creating malfunction reports with reference to the flight.

    If required, you can create a malfunction report for the flight and attach additional debriefing forms to this report to describe the defect that were completed by the pilot during the debriefing.

  • Link documents with flight.

    You can also directly create debriefing documents or notes for the flight and store these in document form in the SAP system.

    Documents created for the technical debriefing can be printed out and signed by the pilot or the electronic document can be assigned a digital signature to identify the pilot.

  • Integrating maintenance notifications and measurement documents in the logbook.

    Since notifications and measurement documents are created on mobile devices during operations and are transferred to the SAP system or directly from electronic equipment in the aircraft to the mobile devices or SAP system by means of an interface, you can also enter these in the logbook.
