Operational Status This function provides information about the suitability of an aircraft for operation (OK, not OK, suitable for flight, suitable for operation) from an operational control point of view. It is possible for an aircraft that is completely intact from a maintenance point of view to be unsuitable for operations if the wrong equipment for a mission is installed in the aircraft, for example.
The operational status doesnot affect the technical status.
The operational status is
Entered in the master equipment
Displayed in the flight using the master equipment
Displayed in the status board

You can change the operational status as follows:
You set the operational status independently of the technical status.
You set the operational status on the basis of the technical status. The following applies here:
If a technical status is set in a notification or order/flight, it is automatically transferred to the master equipment.
You change the operational status manually in the master equipment, so that the operational status for the aircraft has a certain restriction.
The operational status is transferred to the order/flight, where it is displayed.
