Differences Between DFPS Version and General Version

Use

If you use the general version of Support for Flight Operations with the activated business function Maintenance, Support for Flight Operations (DFPS_LM_GEN), compared with the Defense Forces & Public Security (DFPS version) industry solution, some functions are not available:

  • No integration into the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry solution and thus no integration of Support for Flight Operations into the Logbook

  • The Force Element functions are not available

  • The Material Planning Object (MPO) functions are not available

  • The Reportable Item Code (RIC) functions are not available

  • The Crypto Status functions are not available

  • The multisystem landscape functions with central system and decentralized systems are not available

  • BI Content for DFPS is not available

  • The Site Equipment functions are not available

  • The Multiple Assignment of Master Equipment to Multiple Sites function is not available

The functions described in the following documents refer to the DFPS version of Support for Flight Operations . The specified Customizing paths refer to the DFPS version.
