Commission Case Reversal Document A document that summarizes the information for a commission document to be reversed.
Reversal documents are generated as a result of the following activities in the commission case:
Change
Reset
Reset
In case of reversal (for example, when resetting a commission case), all evaluations for all evaluation types are redetermined.
Unlike in the commission case, commission documents are not versioned but are offset using reversal documents.
In the original document, all evaluations and remuneration (as long as they are available) are set to invalid, as well as all settlement items that have not yet been disbursed. In this case, offsetting does not take place.
Reversed evaluations and remunerations cannot be included in difference and early reversal analyses.
If a remuneration for the document to be reversed occurs through early reversal analysis, this remuneration is reversed, otherwise the reference set during liability processing in the liable remuneration line is reset, thus returning it to the old status.
In order to guarantee the consistency of the totals data, totals adjustment takes place for all document objects (evaluation, remuneration, settlement), independent of whether offsetting has actually taken place.
Depending on the Customizing settings, the reversal document of the commission case can be generated in the following two ways:
- Complete document update: document header and line items
- Compressed document update: document header
A reversal document contains the following data:
Document Header: |
Number for the new document (as a link between the original document and the reversal document) |
Line Items: |
Normally only contains settlement items. This means that all settlement items for the original document that have already been disbursed are taken into account If none of the settlement items were disbursed, the reversal document only consists of the document header. |
You cannot just reverse an evaluation – it must be reversed together with the commission case document.
