Clearing Item

Definition

Clearing items are those settlement items that are posted using the settlement documents for the processes to be settled.

Use

Clearing items write off settlement items that are still open from the transactions for the commission contract. A clearing item can clear multiple settlement items.

Structure

As opposed to settlement items, clearing items do not contain a remuneration type, but rather the settlement type for the settlement agreements, which is used for settlement.
