Executing Evaluations

Purpose

Prerequisites

The evaluation agreement for the standard contract is maintained in Customizing.

Process Flow

Evaluation of all objects transferred to the commission case : All the objects reported for a commission case are now checked (in sequential processing, without taking the object hierarchy into account) to see whether they can be evaluated.

  1. Evaluation of single objects : The evaluation types are determined first, then the single objects are evaluated according to all evaluation types found.

  2. Determining the evaluation type(s) : All evaluation types are determined for the single objects. One evaluation type can only ever execute a quantity-based or a value-based evaluation, and the result can only be a difference or an absolute value.

Possible evaluation types are:

  • The evaluation has determined a difference value

  • The evaluation has determined a new absolute value

  • The evaluation has determined a difference quantity

  • The evaluation has determined a new absolute quantity

  1. Create, change or reverse evaluation: Dependent on the single object and evaluation type(s).

  2. Create : A logical service is used here to execute the actual calculation.

  3. Change : It is not possible to change an evaluation within a document. When resetting a commission case, the corresponding commission case document is reversed.

  4. Calculation of the evaluation : Dependent on the single object and evaluation types(s). You cannot specifically reverse an evaluation – it must be reversed together with the commission case document.

The evaluation result category specified for the evaluation type (difference / absolute evaluation) is also transferred. This characteristic can be used in the logical service for controlling the return, if required. The condition technology service used in the standard system does not require this to be specified, as the assignment of return values takes place using the field transport.
